The five-storey old building with two side wings was renovated, the roof was extended for residential purposes and the facade was upgraded.

For the facade decoration, a variety of decorative elements were developed, oriented towards the original condition but still in their own individual form language, which react sensitively to the surrounding component sections and facade positions and create a closed overall picture. The existing flats as well as the common areas have also been modernised and the courtyard has been redesigned. By extending the roof of the front house and the side wings, two spacious apartments have been newly built. The roof was replaced by a new building in the form of the existing building.

In an upscale residential area, an old building with contemporary comfort and a street facade has been built, which is suited to the location of a side street of the upper Kurfürstendamm.
