The large barrel vault of the viaduct in the Berlin-Jannowitzbrücke S-Bahn station has been expanded into an office space with 12 workstations and meeting and adjoining rooms.
Multifunctional enclosed spaces were arranged below a gallery from the 90s, which can be joined by openable partitions. This created more space for the vacant jobs in the rest of the room. Access is via the gallery; in this passageway, seating and working areas have been arranged for flexible use. While the barrel vault was left as a visible masonry, in contrast to it the further expansion with aluminium, glass and white, smooth wall surfaces took place.
A high-quality office space with a fascinating view of the Spree was created.
